3 options in this selection

Start with the area and the kind of evening you want

A useful Barcelona choice starts with your itinerary. Would you like a central show after walking around the old city, or an evening in Montjuïc that includes a visit to Poble Espanyol? These plans involve different journeys and different surroundings. Choose a manageable area first, then compare the performance and the exact ticket available for your visit.

This guide compares three tablaos in Barcelona city. A tablao, a concert at a cultural venue and a provincial festival are different booking choices. A familiar artist's name or an attractive building does not establish the contents of a ticket. Look for a dated programme, a clear entrance address and conditions that fit your companions.

Tablao Flamenco Cordobes: La Rambla as your starting point

Tablao Flamenco Cordobes gives La Rambla 35 as its official address. It offers a performance with a drink and options that combine the show with dining. The address is useful if you want to organise the evening around the old city; the ticket choice matters if food is part of that plan.

Read the description of the selected experience before booking. Establish how the meal and the performance are arranged, which services are included and which arrival instructions apply. If you want to see a named performer, confirm the dated programme rather than treating a general artist page as a promise for every session.

Los Tarantos: Plaça Reial and a clear ticket choice

Los Tarantos is at Plaça Reial 17. Its official website dates the tablao to 1963 and distinguishes show admission, admission with a drink and admission with tapas. The venue's FAQ also describes both seated and standing areas. That detail deserves attention if a seat is essential to your visit.

Use the selected ticket and the current conditions to settle the practical plan. If you buy a food package, confirm where the meal takes place and how it relates to the performance. Ask about your seating needs before paying, and follow the venue's arrival instructions rather than assuming every admission category has the same arrangement.

Tablao de Carmen: A flamenco evening in Poble Espanyol

Tablao de Carmen is in the Andalusian quarter of Poble Espanyol, in Montjuïc. Poble Espanyol's own venue page identifies it as a tribute to dancer Carmen Amaya and dates its activity to 1988. The tablao offers dinner, tapas and drink options alongside the performance.

Its booking pages also explain access to Poble Espanyol as part of the experience. Check the entry conditions attached to your chosen ticket so that you can allow time for the wider site. Plan the journey to Montjuïc and the return to your accommodation with the same care as the show; this is a different evening from staying around La Rambla.

Add local context: Carmen Amaya and the concert programme

Barcelona City Council's Bajarí route links Carmen Amaya to the former Somorrostro settlement on the coast and identifies the fountain that remembers her on the Barceloneta waterfront. That connection gives a daytime walk a cultural point of reference beyond the venue names. Treat a place associated with an artist as a way to learn about the city's memory, rather than expecting a performance to take place there.

For a different format, consult the Palau de la Música Catalana's official flamenco concert listings. Choose the announced production and date, then check which hall and admission conditions apply. A concert listing does not imply a nightly tablao programme, and flamenco, Spanish guitar and mixed productions should be compared according to their actual descriptions.

Barcelona province: Confirm the municipality and the date

A search for Barcelona may also return an activity outside the city. The Diputació de Barcelona library network, for example, recorded a flamenco activity at Badalona's Sant Roc library on 20 March 2026. That is an archive reference showing a local cultural setting, not a current booking recommendation.

When exploring the province, start from the current municipal or provincial agenda and identify the municipality before planning transport. Confirm that an announcement is still future, that visitors can attend and that its booking link belongs to the stated event. A historical programme is useful background but cannot establish the next edition or a regular performance.

Check the details that determine your evening

Compare the final price and conditions on the official booking route for your date. The useful choice is the one that fits your journey, your companions and the kind of performance you want to hear.

  • Confirm the address, ticket category, seating arrangements and arrival instructions.
  • Check whether drinks, tapas, dinner or Poble Espanyol access are included in the selected option.
  • Ask the venue about access requirements, child policies or dietary needs when these affect your visit.
  • Read the seller's change and cancellation conditions before paying.
  • Follow the venue's rules on photography and filming, and give the quieter passages your attention.

Questions before you go

Which Barcelona flamenco venue fits a first visit?

Start with the area and ticket you want. Cordobes is on La Rambla, Los Tarantos is on Plaça Reial, and Tablao de Carmen is in Poble Espanyol in Montjuïc. Compare the current programme and the selected ticket's conditions.

Does a flamenco ticket in Barcelona include dinner?

Only when the selected option says so. These venues distinguish experiences with different food and drink arrangements. Read what the particular purchase includes and where any meal takes place.

Will I have a seat at Los Tarantos?

Its official FAQ describes both standing and seated areas. Confirm the ticket category and ask the venue about a guaranteed seat if this is essential to your visit.

Does a Barcelona province listing mean the show is in Barcelona city?

No. Check the municipality, venue address and date. A provincial agenda may cover another town, and an archived event does not confirm future performances.
