Ronda Guitar House, in the city of Ronda
Ronda Guitar House is Ronda Guitar Music's base at Calle Virgen de los Remedios, 23. It is in Ronda's historic centre, a separate city from Málaga. Fit the concert around a stay in Ronda or plan the entire journey if travelling from elsewhere in the province.
The project opened in 2015 and combines performances with an instrument collection. Its venue page identifies the present address from 2023 onwards. Use that location and your booking confirmation instead of relying on an older address that may remain in a review or archived material.
Spanish guitar: A wider repertoire than flamenco alone
Paco Seco's published programme brings together classical guitar, Spanish and Andalusian music, flamenco styles and original compositions. The seasonal product also mentions Baroque and Romantic repertoire. Consider it if you want to hear the instrument's possibilities across several musical traditions rather than focus on one genre throughout.
The advertised ticket describes a guitar concert, rather than a group of singers and dancers. If dance is your main interest, compare a performance that explicitly includes it. Here you can follow melody, accompaniment, changes of character and the performer's explanations without expecting every piece to use the same flamenco form.
Concert and instrument exhibition
The venue maintains a permanent display of guitars and instruments from around the world. The general product reviewed includes the concert, a drink and a collection visit. Check that your selected option states those inclusions and ask how exhibition access fits around the music's starting time.
The display can encourage you to look at instruments' shapes and materials before listening. Distinguish that visit from a practical lesson or an instrument purchase. The venue also advertises instrument sales and other activities, but these are not automatically part of a concert ticket.
Choose tickets for the correct season
The ticket pages distinguish spring and autumn seasons. On 21 October 2026, they listed separate autumn 2026 and spring 2027 calendars. The existence of those products does not guarantee a session every day; open the season covering your own visit and check the available dates.
Select the date, then read the starting time, inclusions and arrival instructions before paying. Online sales may close before the performance, so check in advance instead of assuming you can complete a web purchase at the door. A historical date returned by a search engine is not a replacement for the live calendar.
The guitar festival is a separate programme
Ronda Guitar Music also organises the Ronda International Guitar Festival. The connection between the projects does not make a festival concert and a regular Ronda Guitar House admission the same purchase. Official information places festival activity at the Real Maestranza, so the event's venue matters.
If travelling for the festival, check the edition, artist and address on every event page. If choosing the venue's regular concert, use its seasonal calendar instead. This distinction helps you enjoy either proposal without assuming that one ticket covers all concerts or that every performance takes place in the same building.
Plan the listening experience and return journey
Ask about duration, seating, child admission and access when those details affect your party. We do not assign one fixed length to every seasonal performance. If returning to Málaga or another town afterwards, establish the expected finishing time before arranging your transport.
For a first visit, listen to how the sound changes between repertoires. You can enjoy the performance without identifying each technique or recognising the piece. Our Málaga guide helps compare this Ronda instrumental option with tablaos and cultural visits in the provincial capital, according to the musical experience you want.
Questions before you go
Is this a tablao with flamenco dancing?
The product researched is a guitar concert with varied repertoire. Choose an event that explicitly includes dance if that is your priority.
Does admission include the exhibition?
The reviewed general product combines a concert, drink and collection visit. Check that your selected ticket lists those services.
Are concerts offered throughout the year?
Sales are organised by season. Check the calendar for your dates rather than extending a spring or autumn announcement to every month.
Does the festival take place at Ronda Guitar House?
Do not assume so. The festival has a separate programme using other venues; check each performance's address.
