A venue in Jerez de la Frontera, a separate city from Cádiz

La Guarida del Ángel is at Calle Porvenir, 1, in Jerez de la Frontera. Jerez is in Cádiz province but is a different city from Cádiz itself. Staying in the provincial capital therefore requires a separate travel plan. Jerez's municipal tourism directory identifies the venue as a flamenco tablao.

The venue describes a concert hall operating since 2000, with rock, pop, jazz and other musical genres alongside flamenco. That range forms part of its identity. Booking an event at this address does not automatically mean attending a flamenco show; follow the description of the individual product.

The tablao: Jerez singing, guitar and dance

The dedicated tablao page advertises singing, guitar and dance with Jerez performers and a changing cast. It lists activity from Tuesday to Saturday, but the calendar for your chosen date is where you should identify the actual session and the conditions offered for that visit.

Consider this option if you want a performance in Jerez to anchor your evening. Notice the shifts between voice, guitar and movement without expecting every artist or programme to give them the same balance. If choosing for a particular performer, look for their name attached to your date.

Flamenco reservations and the general concert calendar

The website separates tablao reservations from its general event calendar. The latter includes several genres and may lead to different ticket sellers. Open the event first and check its title, date and format. Flamenco imagery on the homepage does not establish the musical genre of every concert listed there.

You may also encounter material about the Off Festival or other previous editions. Use it to understand the venue's activity, then find the announcement for the year you need. An archive can introduce artists and projects but cannot confirm a current line-up or tickets for a future trip.

Jerez wine and tapas: Check the food option

The tourism directory associates the flamenco group with food and Jerez wines. The venue also presents El Rincón de Lola, a tabanco offering tapas and home cooking. These are leads for planning the food side of your evening, rather than proof that every show ticket includes dinner or a drink.

Read the booking inclusions and confirm where and when food is served if you want a meal. Tapas can require time beyond the performance itself. Compare totals for the same date and services, and discuss dietary requirements directly with the establishment rather than inferring a menu from a general description.

Duration, seating and your party's requirements

Find the duration and arrival instructions for your specific performance before fixing the rest of your evening. Details for a different type of concert in the same building do not necessarily apply to the tablao. Confirm the expected finishing time if you depend on a scheduled return service.

Ask about child admission, seating and access whenever these affect your party. Descriptions of an intimate setting and a multi-floor building do not settle those practical questions. Explain the arrangement you need instead of assuming from a photograph that all areas operate in the same way for every event.

Book the correct event and retain the confirmation

For the tablao, use the official flamenco section and follow its reservation calendar. Check the activity name and session before paying. Read the selected seller's terms for changes, cancellations and services; conditions on another platform or for another concert may differ.

Our Cádiz guide connects Jerez with Camarón's route in San Fernando and Paco de Lucía's in Algeciras. Choose a realistic base and itinerary. Giving an evening in Jerez enough room makes it easier to enjoy the performance than treating all those separate municipalities as one neighbourhood.

Questions before you go

Is it in Cádiz city?

No. It is in Jerez de la Frontera, within Cádiz province. Plan travel from the city where you are staying.

Are all La Guarida concerts flamenco?

No. The venue programmes several genres. Use the dedicated flamenco section for the tablao and confirm the product you select.

Does a ticket include tapas or wine?

Only when the chosen option says so. The venue's food offering does not define the inclusions of every ticket.

How do I check the cast or duration?

Read the dated information for your performance and ask the venue if an important detail is missing. Do not infer it from an old poster or another concert.
